Prior to surgery, I was advised that I would likely spend 7-10 days in hospital with 4-6 weeks of recovery at home.

Chemotherapy
June 30 - November 18, 2009
I received treatment every other week. A 12th treatment was canceled when a blood test revealed that my new white blood cell count was very low.

Drugs used in my treatments:
Avastin

Folfox regimen:

• FOL– Folinic acid (leucovorin)
• F – Fluorouracil (5-FU)
• OX – Oxaliplatin
