Today Brian was moved to a regular room and he began receiving intravenous nutrition (glucose, lipids, etc.). They also removed his catheter. He is still very fatigued, but is able to move around a bit. So far all is going very well. Not much else to report for today.

Sounds like great progress. Can't say the intravenous nutrition sounds all that great...but I've eaten in worse places. ;-)

We are so happy and feel so much better to know that Brian has been moved out of ICU and continues to improve every minute.
Uncle Pat says when you see Robert, I mean Brian!!! (That must have made your day when he said that.....) to give him a big hug.
